What have you achieved so far with the BoostNL programme? 

The BoostNL-programme provided us with a valuable opportunity to explore the international potential of Clockwork Universe. Our meetings with foreign professionals (including script advisors, potential co-producers, sales agents, and distributors) yielded highly positive responses, revealing that the film's story and themes extend beyond the Dutch context. Narcissism, both on a personal and institutional level, abuse of power, deeply rooted systemic racism, and governments operating like businesses are pertinent issues in European and North American countries as well.

What would be your ideal next steps for your project?

IFFR provides an excellent opportunity to enhance the visibility of the film. We seek constructive collaborations with co-producers, distributors and sales agents, and want to follow up on connections made earlier. We are eager to receive insights from fellow professionals to understand how the film's content is perceived on an international level. Our aim is to further delve into strategies for financing, distribution, and marketing of the film. Beyond this, we aspire to expand our network globally, gain a deeper understanding of what is resonating in the film industry, connect with passionate creators, and explore potential opportunities for future collaborations.
