Charlotte Driessen
Charlotte grew up in a small village near the German border in the south of The Netherlands. In 2015 she graduated with a short fiction film from her studies International Media & Entertainment Management in Breda. Her first film after that, was a mid-length documentary which won several awards and was screened around the world. After that, she worked on several short fiction films and documentaries and on a few feature films together with other producers. In September 2021 she decided to take it to the next level and founded Harpy Films. Harpy Films is one of very few producers not situated in Randstad. In December 2022 her first production was released, the first episode of a youth web series. She has several projects in development and is co-producing with Belgium, Germany and Hungary already.

Founded by Charlotte Driessen in 2021 and based in the lively city of Breda, Harpy Films focusses on both national and international film productions. Harpy Films translates real stories to powerful content to leave a clear message or to confuse you. Either way: we create impact. We are not afraid to take it one step further and to push boundaries. It can be crude and it can touch a nerve. In our content we are not bound to the restrictions of life. We won’t sugarcoat anything, unless it has a clear function. We are getting our inspiration from simplicity and look for our freedom in creativity. Our stories aim to appeal to the imagination and surprise you. Harpy Films is all about pushing reality and chancing perspectives.
