      Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland (1948) broke through in the 1970s in the Polish New Wave, and has since then made politically engaged films in both Europe and America. In her Freedom Lecture, she discusses the pressing question: What does today’s Europe stand for in art and politics? In cooperation with De Balie and the vfonds.
