Profile
Epicmedia Productions Inc. is an award-winning Manila-based film company, founded in 2011 by producer Bianca Balbuena, directors Pepe Diokno and Bradley Liew, and writer Lilit Reyes. Its mission is to create quality movies with a Filipino heart and a global spirit. By collaborating with fearless filmmakers and discovering the next generation of storytellers, Epicmedia has produced a diverse body of work; from internationally-acclaimed films to box office hits, TV series, and branded content.
April is a producer from Epicmedia Productions Inc. She has transitioned from advertising to film production and never looked back. She has spent the past four years building her experience and learning the craft – starting with apprenticeships and working her way up to line producing both local and international co-productions. She is an alumnus of Full Circle Lab and Tribeca Film Institute and has also produced commercials and branded content. The 28-year old has her eyes set on producing – she is fueled by curiosity and believes that there is no substitute for a great story based on a solid insight that speaks to a universal truth. She hopes to develop thought provoking films that tell meaningful stories. She is currently producing Carlo Enciso Catu’s Purple Sun, and Joy A. Aquino’s second feature Tupada.
