Anton Calleja
Anton Calleja became active in the film industry more than 20 years ago and has worked in London, Luxembourg, France and Malta.
He is a producer and consultant for film and the creative industries. He has extensive experience in film financing and collaborates as a consultant with several film funds (at regional, national and international level) and international festivals.
Before setting up Kingsway and Strada Reali, Anton spent more than 12 years in France working at Eurimages (the largest co-production fund in the world), where he managed more than 400 film projects (documentary and fiction) many of which have won Oscars and several prestigious awards (Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, IDFA and other festivals) and was also responsible for legal affairs.
Anton has also formed part of several selection committees of various film funds and has served as a member of the Jury at a number of festivals.
He was also a senior programmer for Biografilm Film Festival (Bologna, Italy) and a member of the final selection committee for IDFA Forum (Amsterdam).
