Alex Polunin

Alex Polunin is a twice BAFTA-nominated film and television producer who currently enjoys a first-look deal with BBC Drama. Having produced some of the UK’s most urgent and iconic short films of the last half decade – including British by the Grace of God (Locarno), Kingdom Come (Venice), Father of the Bride (SXSW), Egungun (Masquerade) (TIFF/Sundance) and She Always Wins (TIFF/Sundance London) – Alex has been developing a slate of debut feature films with BBC Film and Film4 while part of the La Cinef residency and Sundance Labs, including: Rhys Marc Jones' Black Church Bay, Rafael Manuel's Filipiñana, and Olive Nwosu's Lady, as well as Sean Robert Dunn's The Fall of Sir Douglas Weatherford, which is currently in post-production in Scotland with financing from Mubi, BBC Film, BBC Scotland, the BFI and Screen Scotland.

Ossian International is a twice BAFTA-nominated film and television production company and one of the UK's leading out-of-London emerging producers, currently supported by a first-look deal with BBC Drama.
