MovieZone Award

The MovieZone Award is chosen from the feature film section by the young people's MovieZone jury from EYE.

The MovieZone Jury, an initiative by EYE, is active at the major Dutch film festivals including International Film Festival Rotterdam. MovieZone gives young people the chance to fully experience a festival and have their voices heard. During the festival, they do not only watch films, but also meet filmmakers and other film professionals. The MovieZone young people's jury reviews films, specially selected from the festival programme, and decides which film wins the coveted MovieZone Award. This film also has the chance to be included in one of EYE's film education programs, such as MovieZone in the class.
