 We are looking for creative and financing partners to get involved in this advanced stage of development. We arevery open to incorporating international talents as heads of department, such as cinematographer, production designer or sound designer. We are searching for partners who are open to exploring innovative co-production structures. As we are eligible for the NFF+HBF Co-production Scheme, a Dutch partner is very desirable. We want to meet potential co-producers from France, Germany, the Netherlands, and worldwide.Due to the economic crisis in our country, which has had deep effects on the already precarious cultural funding systems, we are more than ever looking for international partners to help us develop and finance our project. In&nbsp;this turbulent 2020, we chose to design a light production structure with a manageable budget. We are also looking for a sales agent, broadcasters and distribution partners.Synopsis
 Un personaje volador is a story about overcoming grief, about the need to leave the world we know, to understand one&rsquo;s own history and the adventure of being reborn by becoming others.Gaspar, a novelist going through a personal crisis and without a place to live on his own, moves to an old and mythical hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. He was invited by the hotel&rsquo;s owner, a close friend of his mother, who just died. His mother, a painter, left him a set of artworks that he carries with him everywhere he goes.Once living in the hotel, he tries to put his life back together but fails. He is not able to write. He gets fired from his teaching position at the university and feels he can&rsquo;t really connect with his son, who he sees very occasionally.One night, he discovers another woman, Rosa, living in the hotel. He had seen her on the streets earlier that day, but she was not the same person as she was dressed as a homeless man. Rosa has many identities and Gaspar feels drawn to her world immediately.&nbsp;"Multiplicity keeps you sane under the worst conditions", she says. After this meaningful encounter, Gaspar finally manages to unfold and look at his mother&rsquo;s paintings. The paintings carry a painful past and yet they are very much alive: he feels a provocation, an impulse. From now on, he will no longer be himself only. The presence of his mother still alive in him and his increasingly intense relationship with Rosa lead him to develop an identity parallel to his own, Ursula.&nbsp;Ursula is a lonely woman who goes to therapy afflicted by recurring nightmares that disturb her and who, like Gaspar, walks around the city aimlessly.Meanwhile, Gaspar starts cutting ties with the world as he knew it and starts working in a pizza restaurant. His friendship with Rosa grows. But he cannot strengthen the relationship with his son, facing him and talking to him seems impossible. Suddenly, without warning, Rosa decides to leave the hotel, leaving Gaspar scared and alone. Without Rosa&rsquo;s guidance, Gaspar reaches unexpected limits as he questions his own body, and how far multiplicity can be sustained. Two lives, two parallel and independent identities, each with its own history, fears and desires that will enter into tension finally pushing Gaspar to a dangerous point.Director's Biography
 Martina Juncadella, born in 1992, is a poet, actress and filmmaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began working as an actress in theatre as well as in cinema, taking part in films with a wide international reach such as Encarnaci&oacute;n, directed by Anah&iacute; Berneri,&nbsp;Abrir puertas y ventanas, directed by Milagros Mumenthaler,&nbsp;Habi, la extranjera,&nbsp;directed by Mar&iacute;a Florencia Alvarez, and&nbsp;Adi&oacute;s entusiasmo, directed by Vladimir Dur&aacute;n. In 2016, she participated in a film workshop led by Andr&eacute;s di Tella at the Torcuato Di Tella University. In this intensive lab, she worked on two short films:&nbsp;Messages&nbsp;(2016), and&nbsp;Fiora&nbsp;(2017), co-directed with Mart&iacute;n Vilela.&nbsp;Messages&nbsp;premiered at the Biennale of Moving Image in Geneva in 2016.&nbsp;Fiora&nbsp;had its premiere at 2017 BAFICI&nbsp;and won as Best Short Film, and has participated in several international film festivals as well, including 2017 San Sebasti&aacute;n International Film Festival. In 2018 she directed the short film&nbsp;I Don&rsquo;t See Myself Being Old, co-written with Jacqueline Golbert, who is also its main actress. The film had its premiere at 2018 BAFICI and its international premiere&nbsp;at the 2018 Festival Biarritz Am&eacute;rique Latine, where it won the Prix Lizi&eacute;res. In 2019, she was selected to develop her first feature film,&nbsp;Un personaje volador, in Ikusmira Berriak,&nbsp;a residence for filmmakers supported by the San Sebasti&aacute;n International Film Festival and Tabakalera Centre of Arts.&nbsp;The film also received the support of the Hubert Bals Fund for script development in 2019.

Un personaje volador tells a story about overcoming grief. After his mother’s death, a writer tries, unsuccessfully, to put his life back together until he finds an exit: he adopts an other identity, parallel to his own. If freedom exists, it is by being others and embracing the multiplicity that constitutes us.
