Goals at CineMart We are looking for co-production partners, equity and a creative technologist(s) to integrate into our project team. We believe that Tokoloshe and Other Behemoth Creatures&nbsp;will benefit from being a co-production as this will create opportunities for skills sharing in a still-growing sector of the South African immersive space. Filming will take place in South Africa using local cast and crew and we hope to have some of our post-production take place internationally.Synopsis When "it-girl" Ayanda's younger sister goes missing after the teenagers call on the spirits for fun, her parents enlist the help of Ayanda&rsquo;s reluctant classmate Thandi to help find her. The seekers endure twists and turns, unimaginable as a mythical creature wreaks havoc on them. Never having encountered a tokoloshe before, Thandi has no idea how to keep her wits about her, let alone how to help the parents find their little girl.Creator's Biography With a career spanning a decade in film, having worked on various projects for both local independent and big studios, in 2018, while searching for a creative way to tell an African folktale Kirstin stumbled across VR as a storytelling tool and hasn&rsquo;t looked back since. She spent a year with Electric South as its cultural producer from October 2019 until October 2020 during which time she managed to successfully navigate a team through the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and helped secure critical funding for the Electric Africa VR festival - Africa&rsquo;s first free online virtual reality festival.
