'Images not words' is the ethos of Rotterdam-based multidisciplinary film collective Rauwkost Collective. No chit-chat, just making beautiful things together with other talented people in Rotterdam. By working non-heirarchically, as a collective, everyone's creativity can be used to the full. In search of innovation, a dramatic tension and raw edges, Rauwkost Collective transforms daring ideas into expressive films, documentaries and media productions.
The world premiere of 15 jaar, a video clip from Camp Rauw, screens in LantarenVenster V4, where Rotterdam poet Dean Bowen will perform his poetry to accompany the short films 14.05 altijd een soort vooruit and Exodus (world premiere). These films are part of Tussen de zinnen in, a poetic drama series inspired by Bowen's urban poetry, in collaboration with the Rotterdam public library and OPEN Rotterdam.
Work by Rauwkost Collective also screens in the combined programmes RTM Short and RTM Remix, and you can see their video installation ROTbeeld in the foyer.
Part of RTM, the Rotterdam selection.
