After twelve days of eye-opening, critical, moving, funny, experimental, unpredictable films, debates, discussions and exhibitions – it’s time to party! And in style: celebrate the spectacular close of the 48th IFFR with us on Saturday 2 February.

The official Closing Party kicks off at 23:00 hours in de Doelen, right after the screening of the closing film. Of course we’ll be partying into the wee hours. Expect a fantastic line-up of different DJs, live music and unforgettable live acts.

DANSVOER
Sometimes you do not want the same, sometimes you just want a bit of everything. DANSVOER is Silent Disco 2.0. 3 colors means dancing on 3 channels. 2 DJs and 1 open channel for requests.

DANSBAR
DANSBAR is a Rotterdam collective that shines with its broad musical spectrum and various DJ’s. Non and Thunderpussy have been playing dance music for decades now with extra love for 80's pop, wave, funky electro, Detroit- and Chicago-house and with a big dash of craziness. After all, you should not take yourself too seriously! TANZ!

A DJ collective in the broadest sense of the word... Ø K A P Í stands behind and in front of the turntables. Whether it is to glitter someone or just to let that one person shine in the corner on the dance floor, Ø K A P Í does not shy away.

Fantabulous Disco DJ Show
The Fantabulous Disco DJ Show includes old Disco pearls, hard House tracks and unknown Nu-Disco bangers. Expect a lot of funky beats, trips to old-school Hip Hop and here and there a special edit of an obscure disco record.

The Policy
Inspired by Lou Reed, Pink Floyd and Trevor Horn the new act The Policy has created a new musical genre: Art House. Art House blends the philosophy from the 60’s and 70’s Art Rock movement with the sounds of the 80’s and modern dance music into one nostalgic yet fresh sound. The duo behind The Policy worked on this sound for over 7 years, and took many forms. Now they’re ready to welcome you to their extremely detailed, melancholic and trippy music that can bring you in any state of mind.

DANSVOER would not be DANSVOER without its well-known à la carte channel. At GREEN every single request will be played, just request them via Instagram with #dansvoer or try your luck with Team Green at the party!

Band: Conjunto Papa Una
Conjunto Papa Upa creates a unique sound: Venezuelan polyrhythmic grooves are mixed with 60's surf, rock, samba and guaguancó.

The lo-fi guitar sound, the psychedelic organs, the distorted vocals and the use of amplifiers strongly resemble the experimental music from the 1970's. The result is like a raw latin Surf Garage Rock that not only refers to Cumbia and Salsa, but also to Angolan and other African music. Leading artist is Alex Figueira, who is also part of the band Fumaça Preta and the man behind the label Music With Soul and the brand Vintage Voudou.
