A conversation between curator and writer Galit Eilat, filmmaker, journalist and gender activist Anat Saragusti and artist Yael Bartana about Bartana's recent piece What if Women Ruled the World? (2017). In what ways can social roles of power and political performativity be transformed by female domination? Do specific forms of female decision-making exist and, if so, can they lead to real changes in social, political and military power structures? Through a discussion of the potentiality of Bartana's work (which intertwines fiction and reality, satire and serious experimental politics), this panel will examine different options and modes for women's agency in today's disorienting geopolitical madness.
