This omnibus film comprises three fresh short films by three young Korean directors. Their common theme is suicide - a never-ending source of inspiration.
Hanging Tough by Park Soo-Young is the story of the schoolgirl Gina who wants to die after she oversleeps before the exams. She jumps off the roof of the school but is apparently unharmed... She isn't the only one who wants to die.
Fly Away, Chicken! by Cho Chang-Ho is about a failed, suicidal police officer who sets off for a remote beach with his uniform and gun. He sees three men molesting a woman, but doesn't intervene. What's the point, after all, of putting one baddy out of action? Next morning he comes face to face with the men. He has three bullets...
Happy Birthday by Kim Sung-Ho looks at a pensioner who realises that he has no one to celebrate his 70th birthday with. When he arrives at the railway track to throw himself in front of the train, he sees a young man with a bag who also wants to commit suicide while gangsters are after him. (GT)
