A young girl dies accidentally during a football match. Different people, ranging from friends to family and neighbours, try all night to dispose of her body in secret. North Went Mad is a dark and quite surrealistic story about repressed guilt and fear. With minimal means, the director manages to generate an atmosphere of suspense and heaviness that emanates from every image.
