Hiroshi Sugimoto is a Japanese American photographer who exposes limited series of very specific pictures over long stretches of time. One of these is a systematic series on cinema architecture, both indoors and outdoors. The scene is exclusively lit by the reflection coming from the movie screen. So the screen itself is overexposed and blank.
