Realistic but also dreamy feature that is carried by two young actors and a striking actress. Csiwi has just started to wonder what his place in the world is and which way he should go, when two people enter his lives in quick succession: Levi and Valeska, each of which point in completely different directions. Levi is tired of travelling around all the time. He needs a place where he can escape the vicissitudes of life and finally find peace. Valeska on the other hand is very active and always looking for the next horizon. Her talisman is a postcard; she believes that she can find her next happiness on the spot illustrated on the card. Levi becomes a friend for Csiwi with whom he can share adventures; Valeskabecomes his first love. At first he tries to keep these two worlds apart, scared that they will not be able to cope with each other, but when the three eventually do meet up, his fear proves groundless. Through their new friendship, the three develop so much power and decisiveness, that no one can stop them. Together they decide to make their dreams come true and almost succeed...Bindlechner: 'What makes it worth my while to tell the story of Csiwi, Levi and Valeska is that apparent happiness on the surface can hide the underlying drama right to the end - as so often in real life.'
