An original and capricious film in which elements from a medical documentary and an experimental science-fiction film come together. The film-maker wanted to make a film about the (apparent) significance of the image and did so in the form of an absurdist, nightmare comedy. The image and its appearance, the event and its impression, the phenomenon and the object; they are separated from each other in the portrayal of an anxious and chaotic world.A film crew is making an item about Miklos Glonczi, a simple gypsy who has fallen foul of ambitious scientists. The scientists have developed a way of linking human sight to a computer. In the case of Glonczi the method even provides images from the past, so he is eagerly abused as a guinea pig. (GjZ)
