Yossi Somer

Yossi SOMER (1956, Israel) is a filmmaker, producer and screenwriter who served as a paramedic during the First Lebanon War. His film Resisim (1989) is based on memories of war veterans. The Dybbuk of the Holy Apple Field (1998) was one of the most expensive Israeli films ever made. Somer dedicated this film to Hollywood veteran Fred Zinnemann.
