Yorgos Zois

Yorgos ZOIS (1981, Greece) studied applied Math and Physics at the National Technical University in Athens, film direction at the Stavrakou Film School, Athens and at the UdK Art Academy in Berlin where he was awarded a scholarship by the Goulandris Foundation. He has worked as an assistant to Theo Angelopoulos. His debut feature Interruption (2015) premiered in Venice. It received nine nominations from the Greek Academy Awards and won the award for best newcomer director.
