Yao Hung-i

YAO Hung-i joined 3-H Productions as a camera assistant in 1994 and found himself assisting in virtually every other department of the crew too. Before long, he was working as Hou Hsiao-hsien's assistant director and he also helped with editing, production and art direction. In recent years, he has worked as a director/cinematographer of advertising films, and has made short films of his own. Reflections is his début feature.
