Wendy Oakes

Wendy OAKES (1983, The Netherlands) received the Encouragement Prize from Stroom Den Haag in 2012 as a result of her graduation film Dream King. She was educated at the Amsterdam School of the Arts and the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. In her work, Oakes takes as her starting point a reality that is strange for her, in which she touches on unreality.
