Watanabe Ayumu
In 1986, WATANABE Ayumu (1966, Japan) joined Studio Mates, where he made his first original picture. Two years later, he moved to Shinei Videos where he took on several roles, including key animator, animation director and director. He directed the feature Draemon: Nobita's Dinosaur (2006), amongst others, for Shinei Videos. Watanabe started working for himself in 2011 and has made several films since. Children of the Sea (2019) is his fourth feature-length animation film.
