Warwick Thornton
Warwick THORNTON (1971, Australia) graduated in Cinematography from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. He started off working as a DJ for a radio station during which he began his film career making shorts. Apart from directing, he has extensive experience working as a cinematographer. Samson & Delilah (2009) is his first feature film as a director, and for this he received the Golden Camera (for Best Debut) in Cannes. Thornton’s highly acclaimed Sweet Country (2017) won the Special Jury Prize in Venice.
