Viktor Aristov

Viktor Aristov (1943, Kazachstan, 1994) was one of the most important directors of the so-called Leningrad school. He made his début in 1977 with Svojaki, worked for Russian television and Trudno pervie sto let / The First Hundred Years are Difficult (1988) was one of his best films. Satana (1990) won a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
