Victor Viyuoh

Born and raised in Cameroon, scriptwriter and director Victor VIYUOH studied Math at Louisiana State University before pursuing Fiction at the University of Miami, and then going on the USC's School of Cinema/Television. His aim is to make films that put African cinema on the map. Mboutoukou (2003), a short film about his childhood experiences in Africa, was screened at over forty festivals in the US as well as at the Venice International Film Festival and IFFR. Ninah's Dowry is his first feature.
