Valentin Merz
Still: De noche los gatos son pardosValentin MERZ (1985, Switzerland) is a filmmaker and co-founder of the production company Andrea Film. Born in Zurich, he worked in Mexico City as a typographer in 2007, and in Berlin for five years in cinema and theatre. He then studied film at Haute école d'art et de design (HEAD) in Geneva. His short films have screened at festivals around the world. strong>De noche los gatos son pardos (2022), selected for IFFR 2023, is his first feature-length film.
