Tolga Karaçelik op IFFR
Tolga KARAÇELIK (1981, Turkey) studied law in Turkey before moving to New York to study film. He wrote short stories and poetry, and started directing short films, music videos and documentaries. His debut feature Toll Booth (2010) won many awards, including Best Film at Turkey’s Golden Orange. His second feature Ivy (2015) premiered at Sundance and won more than 20 awards worldwide. In 2016, Karaçelik was part of the jury at Karlovy Film Festival’s East West Competition.
