Todd Hughes

Todd HUGHES (1963, USA) is a producer, screenwriter and director. He became known through his short film Ding Dong (1995) and debuted in 2001 with his feature length film The New Women. As a screenwriter, he was involved in the TV series Wicked Wicked Games (2006-2007) and the documentary Hit So Hard (2011), about Hole drummer Patty Schemel. He was also (executing) producer for the documentaries Room 237 (about Kubrick’s The Shining) and Dear Mom, Love Cher (2013), about singer Cher and her mother Georgia Holt. Mansfield 66/67 (2017) is his debut as a documentary maker, which he made together with his husband P. David Ebersole.
