Tanaka Noboru

TANAKA Noboru (1937-2006, Japan) was a Japanese screenwriter and filmmaker. He is best known for his Roman Porno films, or the so-called 'pink film'. He was educated in French literature at Meiji University in Tokyo, and after graduating he worked at the Nikkatsu studios as an assistant director. In 1972 he made the film Night of the Felines, which was seen as one of the best pink films.
