Shimamura Tatsuo
SHIMAMURA Tatsuo (1934, Japan) is an animator and film producer. He was educated at Tokyo University of the Arts and after graduation he started working at a Toei Animation. In 1973 he established his own independent company Shimamura Planning Office, and founded the following year another production company: Shirogumi Inc. Shimamura works also as a professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design.
