Shimako Sato

Shimako Sato was born in Mazusawa, Japan. She is 28. In Tokyo she did a design course and in London she attended the Film Academy. After her graduation in 1988 she started work as an editor for a Japanese (satellite) television station. She says she has been influenced by the work of e.g. Terry Gilliam, Yasujiro Ozu and Andrej Tarkovski.
