Sergey Debizhev

Sergei Debizhev (1957) was born in the Ukraine but has lived in Saint Petersburg since he was 16. He attended courses at two art academies until 1982. He participated in several exhibitions of the Leningrad Artists Union with graphic work and paintings. He also worked as 'art producer' for a series of TV programmes and founded an underground rock band. He has experimented with film since 1988, resulting in several shor9ts and a video film.
