Sanjeewa Pushpakumara

Before Sanjeewa PUSHPAKUMARA (1977, Sri Lanka) took art courses at several universities, he had worked as a journalist and television presenter. In 2007, he received a scholarship to take a film course in Korea and learn the Korean language. His short films Touch (2007) and Wings to Fly (2009) were screened successfully at the Youth New Wave International Film Festival in Sri Lanka. His latest film, Burning Birds (2016), received production support from Doha Film Institute and also post-production support from the Hubert Bals Fund and Cinema du Monde.
