Salvatore Mereu

Salvatore MEREU (1965, Dorgali, Sardinia) graduated from the arts and drama school, DAMS, in Bologna before earning a diploma in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. After making a series of short films, in 2003 he directed his first feature film, Three Steps Dancing (selected for Rotterdam's Tiger Awards Competition), which earned him several awards. Pretty Butterflies is his third feature.
