Roy Villevoye

Roy VILLEVOYE (1960, Netherlands) was educated in art at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. His short film Beginnings won a Tiger Award for Short Film at IFFR 2006. Since 1992, Villevoye has been travelling regularly to West Papua in Indonesia, and many of his films are based on contact with this culture. The majority of his video works are developed in collaboration with Jan Dietvorst.
