Ron Mann
Toronto-based Ron MANN is one of Canada's foremost documentary filmmakers. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto. He established his international career while still in his twenties with a series of award-winning theatrical documentaries, including Imagine the Sound (1981), Poetry in Motion (1982) and Comic Book Confidential (1988). In 2002, he founded FILMS WE LIKE, a distributor of documentary, independent and international films in Canada. The company has released over 300 films to date, and counting. Mann produces most of his own work through his company, Sphinx Productions.
