Roberta Marques
Roberta MARQUES (1968, Maranguape, Brazil) graduated as a filmmaker from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and as performance artist from Das Arts, both in Amsterdam. She lives and works alternately in the Netherlands and Brazil. Her films have been shown at IFFR, the Netherlands Film Festival and Rio International Film Festival. In Rio, she won the award for best film in the Brasil Novos Rumos section for Rânia, her first feature.
