Ricardo Pretti

Ricardo PRETTI (1982, Brazil) started his film career as an editor of films by directors including Sérgio Borges, Ivo Lopes Araujo and Marcelo Grabowsky. He made his directorial debut in 2008 with the short film Long Live Cearense Cinema . He is one of the founders of Operation Sonia Silk, as part of which he wrote and directed Rio Belongs to Us (2013), supported by the Hubert Bals Fund. In collaboration with his brother Luiz, Clarissa Campolina and Julia De Simone, he made The Harbor, nominated in the Tiger Award Competition for Short Films in 2014.
