Prantik BASU (1986, India) studied Film Directing at the Film and Television Institute of India, after finishing English Literature at the University of Calcutta. His films have been screened at various festivals including International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Rome Film Festival, International Film Festival of India and Experimenta India. His film Ek, Do (2011) was awarded the Indian Jury Prize at Mumbai International Film Festival. Sakhisona won a Tiger Award for Short Films at IFFR 2017.
