Pipilotti Rist

Elisabeth Charlotte ('Pipilotti') RIST (1962, Switzerland) is a well-known video artist whose work has been widely exhibited all over the world and for which she has received many awards. She studied applied arts in Vienna and video in Basel. In 1997 her work was first featured in the Venice Biennial, where she was awarded the Premio 2000 Prize. She was a member of the pop group Les Reines Prochaines. Pepperminta (2009) is her first feature film.
