Petr Lom

Petr Lom (1968, Czech Republic) began his career as a professor of philosophy with a Harvard Ph.D. His Bride Kidnapping in Kyrgyzstan (2004) won numerous prizes worldwide. On a Tightrope (2007) opened at Sundance and won the Grand Prize at the Chicago Documentary Film Festival and Warsaw Human Rights Film Festival. Letters to the President (2009) premiered at the Berlinale. Back to the Square (2012) premiered in Rotterdam, won the Jury Prize in Hong Kong, and was the opening film at One World Prague and the closing film at CPHDOX. Ana Ana (2013) was nominated for best film at IDFA.
