Peter Tscherkassky

Peter TSCHERKASSKY (1958, Austria) studied philosophy, teaches film in Vienna and Linz and is co-founder of Sixpack Film. Besides making experimental films, Tscherkassky also publishes books on the subject, and has organised several international avant-garde film festivals in Vienna and film tours abroad. In 1993 and 1994 he was the artistic director of the annual Austrian film festival Diagonale. One of his latest works, The Exquisite Corpus (2015), is being screened at IFFR 2016.
