Pepe Diokno

Pepe DIOKNO (1987, Philipines) was educated in film at the University of the Philippines but didn't graduate. Engkwentro, originallyintended as his thesis film, is his first feature film. The film was awarded the Venice Film Festival’s Lion of the Future - 'Luigi de Laurentiis' Award for a Debut Film and the Orizzonti Prize for new trends in cinema.
