Paul Kos

Paul KOS (1942, USA) lives and works in San Francisco and is a conceptual artist and teacher. He graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute and co-founded the Bay Area Conceptual Art movement. In his work, simple materials are investigated and used to create metaphors. Kos' installations and videos have been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, New Langton Arts, Capp Street Project, Leo Castelli Gallery in New York, M.H. de Young Museum in San Francisco and Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
