Nuri Bilge Ceylan
Filmmaker and photographer Nuri Bilge CEYLAN (1959, Turkey) was educated in technology and then filmmaking. All his films have been screened at Cannes since his short film Koza was shown there in 1995. Winter Sleep was awarded the Palme d’Or and the FIPRESCI Prize, Once Upon a Time in Anatalia and Uzak won the Jury Prize in Cannes and Ceylan won Best Director for Three Monkeys.
