Nicholas Bonner

Nicholas BONNER (b. 1961, United Kingdom) trained as a landscape architect, but has lived in Beijing for 20 years, where he organises cultural exchange programmes with North Korea. In 2002, he produced his first documentary, The Game of Their Lives, about the North Korean football team which beat Italy in the 1996 World Cup. Several documentaries followed. Comrade Kim Goes Flying is his directing debut.
