Mona FASTVOLD (1981, Norway) is a New York based actress, screenwriter and director. She wrote the screenplays for Brady Corbet’s The Childhood of a Leader (2015) and Vox Lux (2018). With Corbet, she also wrote the screenplay for her directorial debut, The Sleepwalker, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. Her second feature, The World to Come (2020), premiered in Venice, earning a Golden Lion nomination and winning the Queer Lion.
