Milos Forman

Film maker and screenwriter Milos FORMAN (1932-2018, Czechoslovakia) became an orphan very early because his parents were killed in Auschwitz. Milos was educated in film at the University of Prague’s Film Institute. In 1968 he left Europe for the United States where he achieved much fame for his films One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), Hair (1979) and Amadeus (1984). In his work he combines the best of European and American film making traditions.
