Marcelo GOMES (1963, Brazil) studied journalism, specialising in TV. In 1991, thanks to a scholarship from the British Council, he graduated from the Film School at Bristol University. His first feature film Cinema, Aspirins and Vultures (2005) screened in Cannes as part of the Un Certain Regard programme. Gomes' films have travelled to many international screens among which are Venice and Berlin.
