Makrand Deshpaande

Makrand DESHPAANDE (1966, Mumbai, India) graduated from Mumbai University. A good athlete, he became an actor and went on to star in more than twenty-five Bollywood, or Hindi, films. Later, he went on to direct, write and produce over thirty children's short and full-length plays. As a film maker he previously directed Danav (2003), based upon his own theatre play Vasant Kaa Teesra Youvan.
